My first beef noodle was at Golden Mile Food Centre, later was behind Centerpoint Food Centre. This joint I found by chance back in 2000 located at Purvis Street. I have brought family and friends to try it out but since the open the second joint at Clark key and close the Purvis Street stall, the taste and atmosphere seems so different.
A sibling to Hock Lam Teowchew Beef noodle, both Hock Lam are related, Authentic or Original is up to you preference on taste bud. The real taste is Singapore Beef Noddle is the Soup version. The dry version was a request by Hainan migrant. Both taste as good.
