However, Singapore’s Michelin Guide proves that even hawker stalls can produce prestigious food that don’t cost a bomb. How do these Michelin-worthy spots compare to ordinary food stalls serving the same dishes? In this special episode of Taste Testers, we decided to compare three dishes, bak chor mee, soy sauce chicken noodles and mapo tofu to see if the Michelin-starred dishes are really worth queuing for!
