Things to do on a Singapore Holiday

Here are some must do’s on a holiday in Singapore. Stay at Sentosa. The convenience of the shuttle transport and the sheer amount of attractions makes it ideal. We stayed at the Shangrila Rasa. On our 1st day we visited the Singapore Zoo. It was truly memorable, the highlight being, Inuka, the Polar Bear. In the evening we visited the River Safari which is right besides the Zoo. Its best to buy combo tickets for both the attractions. This was followed by a visit to Universal Studios. You need an entire day at Universal Studios, it is advised to buy the express tickets as some rides have queues that can go on for upto 2 hours. Universal studios worked really well for our 4 year old who identifies with Shrek, Madagascar, Minions, Jurassic Park etc. Although there are not too many rides for a 4 year old it still is a day well spent. On our 3rd day we visited the Singapore Flyer, which is a ferris wheel which gives you stunning views of the gardens by the bay, marina bay sands and the city. We then shopped for souvenirs at Bugis Street and went for the Light and Sound show at Gardens by the Bay. On our last day we went to Adventure Cove. The highlight of this water park was an artificial reef with over 20,000 fish. Guests can swim and snorkel with the fish. Besides there is a wave pool, a lazy river that surround the water park and lots of slides etc. You could spend half a day at Adventure Cove and use the later half to explore Sentosa. We used the Skywalk to go to Siloso fort which was right outside the hotel. In addition we watched the Wings of Time show which is a 20 min Sound, Lights, Lasers & Fireworks show. Singapore is a fantastic destination to do a short 4-6 day holiday with a family. This video is shot entirely on an iphone 6 and edited in imovie.
