The Insect Kingdom is part of Butterfly Park and Insect Kingdom attraction at the Singapore’s Sentosa. It showcases about 95% dead and 5% living insect species. The living species are found in the small pathway leading to the air-conditioned museum, they include the scorpions, beetles, tarantulas, millipedes, leaf insects and stick insects. The air-conditioned museum only house the dead species, a few hundred of them (I never count), but as you can see from the video, it is quite an impressive amount put on display. Do not expect the insect species on display to be exhaustive (the total number of insects species are more than a million!). This video shows all the dead species on display in the air-conditioned museum. A ticket to the Butterfly Park will allow the visitor to visit the Insect Kingdom. The place is open to general public 9.30am to 7pm daily.
