This 2.2 kilometer-long street is a main tourist attraction in Singapore.
After its renovation in 2009, many people walk or drive there for shopping or entertainment.
As it can be easily understood, this shopper’s paradise was named after the plantations that used to grow along it 200 years ago.
A travelers note: On Saturdays you can shop late until 11 o’clock at some outlets!
