I landed a giant catfish in Singapore that was likely over 60 pounds. My brother and couple of my buddies set up for a trip through one of the locals. This fish was caught at a place called fishing paradise. Thankfully Dean let me borrow his ocean spinning combo, which was set up with 50 pound braid and a fluorocarbon leader. We were fly-lining large chunks of chicken gizzards on a 9/0 Owner Circle Hook. The fight lasted over 15 minutes and managed to completely smoke my arms. The catch culminated with me getting in the water to hold my fish for the camera and then release it. It was an amazing experience. Special thanks to Eric who set up the trip and Dean who was kind enough to share his St. Croix rod/Shimano combo with me. Also, big thanks to RAJ who was setting up the bait. It was an awesome way to end the day. Please enjoy the video and let me know what you think.
