    1. Singlish is purposely and specially created for Singaporean. As you know Singapore is a multi-racial country which consists of 3 main races,Chinese,Malay n Indian,Hence Singlish is created with mixture of languages. So this create a Harmony among races n it become a unique culture for Singapore. Anyway Singlish is Fun, Short and Sharp. Let's learn together to enjoy the fun and adapt yourselves in this Harmony n wonderful country.

    2. So disappointing you didnt cover the section of the 15 ways to say "can":

      Can la
      Can meh
      Can hor
      Can or not
      Can can
      Can siah
      Can bo
      Can kua
      Can liao
      Confirm can
Can means can cannot means cannot
      Can one
      Not say cannot
      If can i do
      Can de

    3. The first word I'd learnt when I talked to my Singaporean ex-boss is "LA". 😀

LA in the end of word is Chinese speaking style. It's easy to catch up in the first time .

Greeting from Chinese(Teochew)-Thai who completely don't understand hokkien. XD

    4. Actually, Singlish is created so foreigner don't understand a heck of what Singaporean is talking about! Just Kidding. This is the results of multi-culture up-bringing. Having indians(from India origin, not that American natives), malays, chinese & eurasian as your neighbours, you learn some of their mother tongue playing with your neighbours. Just like I use Spanglish in spain for certain years, laughing by the local spanish friends. Saying I speak like a Britons living in spain.

    5. Even if you know the Singlish words like Lah, Alamak, Shiok….etc You would still need to work on your accent and learn how to end the sentence with it too lol Nice and entertaining vid David and company, good job!
