SINGAPORE | TRAVEL VLOG 2017 [PART 2]

SINGAPORE | TRAVEL VLOG 2017 [PART 2] (Click for detailed itinerary)

I’ve had an amazing time in Singapore in the beginning of 2017 and I’m extremely proud of these 5 vlogs that I’ve managed to make! I’ve filmed over 1000+ clips and I’m really happy with vlogs and I hope you enjoy them too! I’ll be heading to the states again later this month and I’ll be sharing those travel vlogs with you guys very soon! Thanks for the support as always! x

Detailed itinerary:

Accomodation: Airbnb near Orchard Road
There are heaps of listings and a lot of good options depending on your budget!

1) Forty Hands – Tiong Bahru
[

Great small cafe with good quality food! My coffee was a bit burnt but overall it was a great experience! It is however on the pricier side so be ready to fork out a bit more.

2) Tiong Bahru

[

As mentioned in the vlog, Tiong Bahru is a hipster neighbourhood situated in an old housing estate. It has very unique vibes and I highly recommend it! The bookshop we went into is called Books Actually but there are a lot of other small boutiques/shops that are also worth a visit!

3) Platform 1094
[

This Harry Potter themed cafe has no official affiliation to the movie or the books. They are known for the theatrics that come from their drinks. The drink we ordered was “The Goblet of Fire”, the drink itself contains alcohol but you don’t really taste it at all. We didn’t try the food there and the service was not the best but I believe that this is because they are still extremely new as a cafe and they’re figuring things out as well! It was a pretty cool experience and I’d recommend it if you’re a big HP fan!

4) Little India
[

A very different part of SG! You can definitely feel like you’re in a different culture in this part of town. We didn’t spend a lot of time here but there are definitely things that you can do/buy/eat!

5) Dinner at Jumbo Seafood
[

One of the most famous places to get Singapore’s famous chilli crab! We went to the outlet at East Coast Cenre which is the original and the first store that they opened! Reviews have said that this is the most authentic one compared to the other restaurants they have. Make sure you make a reservation in advance because they are always packed and booked out! Highly recommend the chilli crab, black pepper crab, man tous to go with it (the buns) and the bamboo clams with garlic!

6) Clarke Quay
[

This is the centre of nightlife in Singapore! Everyone comes here to go clubbing and for a drink or two! It has a great atmosphere and there are so many bars/clubs/restaurants for you to choose from!
